Silent Thunder... ..........View Cart They are drawn together, our mountains we cannot see. Familiar meanings, fear, and desire, and the desert… the desert is filled with the resonant proclamations of war it sometimes seems, as the daytime, mad for extended moments in time, affords her offerings with silent thunder. Often there is fearful consequence, for her showing demands humble compensation. And we, forgetful at times to the lands cardinal qualities, must realize the message she would keep. So for now we look in dreadful wonder, and to her tenderness we petition the life we wish to keep. From the mountains, from the desert, to the heavens do we reach. ©1999 Anthony Tubbiolo
